Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan And Lee Jung Hyun Confirmed For Upcoming Netflix Drama

Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan And Lee Jung Hyun will lead the upcoming Netflix drama “Parasyte The Grey.”

“Parasyte The Grey” is adapted from Iwaaki Hitoshi’s comic which was a massive hit in Japan selling millions of copies worldwide. It tells the story of a confrontation between humans who hosted an unidentified parasite that fell from the space and the ones who try to stop it. One day, mysterious parasites fall from the sky, they enter humans as their host and begin to murder other humans. These parasite create their own force and humans who have not been infected fight to stop these creatures from taking over the world.

Jeon So-Nee will take on the role of Jung Soo-In, a woman who is penetrated by a parasite, but the parasite fails to take over her brain. Jung Soo-In and the parasite begin to live together.

Koo Kyo Hwan will tranform to Seol Gang-Woo who chases after parasites to find his missing younger sister.

Lee Jung-Hyun will play the role of Choi Joon-Kyung, the chief of the parasite task force. She lost her husband to the parasites and her life goal is to eradicate them.

The drama will be helmed by director Yeon Sang-ho whose previous works include “Train To Busan,” among many more hits. He will also co-write the drama.

The drama is slated to be released some time in 2023.
